Hilton Head’s Monarch Concierge MD welcomes Dr. David Zweiback

Hilton Head Island’s healthcare community has a new name to remember – David Zweiback, DO, the latest addition to Monarch Concierge MD. A seasoned physician with more than 30 years of experience, Dr. Zweiback is known not only for his expertise in internal medicine and dermatology but also, and interestingly, for his passion for music. His well-rounded approach to patient care makes him a standout in the field, combining high-quality medical practices with personal connections that go beyond the exam room.

Having recently joined Monarch Concierge MD and moved here with his wife, Alina, and their three children, Dr. Zweiback brings a fresh perspective to concierge care, a model that allows for deeper, more engaged relationships between doctor and patient. For Dr. Zweiback, this model represents a natural fit for his approach to medicine. “With concierge care, patients are more engaged in their health,” he said. “When both patient and physician are committed and working in sync, the results speak for themselves.”

Originally from Pennsylvania, Dr. Zweiback made the decision to relocate to Hilton Head Island after falling in love with the community. “I had never been to Hilton Head, but when I came here to interview for the job, I instantly fell in love with it,” he said. “This is where I want to spend the rest of my career.”

Before moving to Hilton Head, Dr. Zweiback had a long-established practice in Philadelphia, where he earned the trust and admiration of his patients. He is still followed by many of them, with more than 15 patients who regularly visit Hilton Head to continue to see him. “I had a very loved practice back in Philadelphia,” he said. “In fact, some people won’t go to anyone else, so it’s incredibly gratifying to have them follow me down here.”

Dr. Zweiback brings a wealth of experience to his new role. A graduate of the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, he completed his residency at Penn Presbyterian Medical Center and is board-certified in internal medicine. His additional training in dermatology and aesthetic medicine ensures that he can offer a broad range of services to his patients, from routine internal medicine care to advanced treatments in dermatology, Botox, and fillers for aesthetic purposes.

“I’ve had over 20 years of experience with Botox and fillers,” Dr. Zweiback said. “In addition to offering these services, I also provide hormone therapy, peptide therapy, and anti-aging treatments. Patients who want to look good on the outside while feeling great on the inside can get Botox at a discounted rate as part of their concierge membership.”

Preventative, Holistic, and Heartfelt

Dr. Zweiback’s holistic approach to patient care is a key component of his philosophy. “My goal is to help my patients ensure their medications, diet, and lifestyle all work together to support a longer, healthier life. The quality of a patient’s years is even more important than the quantity of years,” he said. This focus on preventative care and integrative medicine distinguishes his practice from others.

Dr. Zweiback’s ability to connect with his patients on a personal level sets him apart. “Patients tell me I have one of the biggest hearts they’ve ever seen,” he said. “I practice from the heart, not just from the head. I’m empathetic, and I put a lot of attention and intention into listening and connecting with my patients. I consider them like family.”

In addition to his medical career, Dr. Zweiback is also a talented musician with a lifelong passion for music. He has performed professionally for more than 30 years and is currently working on his third album. His musical tastes range from classic rock to jazz and blues, and he enjoys connecting with the community both in and outside of the clinic. “I’m really a blend of left and right brain,” he said. “I’m an evidence-based physician who delivers high-quality healthcare, but I’m also an artist. My medium just happens to be music.”

Whether it’s providing personalized, high-quality medical care or playing a setlist of classic tunes for a local crowd, Dr. Zweiback is committed to making Hilton Head his home both professionally and personally. “I love Hilton Head – the vibrant music scene, the friendly people, and the community’s focus on health and wellness,” he said. “It’s a place where I can do what I love, both in the office and onstage.”

Dr. Zweiback is seeing patients at Monarch Concierge MD, located at 89 North Main Street, Hilton Head. For more information on joining the concierge practice, call (843) 681-5305.
