As we hear up to bring back CH2’s Bachelor of the Year contest and party in 2022, our thoughts wandered to our past candidates. So, for this February month of LOVE, we figured we would check in on some of our former Bachelor & Bachelorettes, to see how they found “their lobster,” (this is a Friends reference for the pop-culture deficient) when they knew she was “the one,” and what they think they key to a happy marriage is.

Alcott remained single all her life, as did Susan B. Anthony (social reformer and suffragette), Clara Barton (founder of the Red Cross), and Coco Chanel (iconic fashion designer).
This month, we recruited local singles to model looks from our Lowcountry boutiques—and had them share their thoughts on their idea of a perfect first date, what traits are deal-breakers, and how dating has changed since the dawn of the digital age.
