Personalized Care, Natural Results, and a Patient-First Philosophy

In a world where medical aesthetics is continually evolving, and where trends can shift faster than the seasons, Beautique Medical Aesthetics stands out for one timeless reason: a steadfast commitment to natural, individualized results. For five years, the practice has grown under the leadership of co-owners Amanda Ellis, an aesthetician, and Jessica Lowther, a certified nurse practitioner. Together, they’ve developed a culture of expertise, safety, and heart-centered care, where every treatment is tailored to the person sitting in the chair.

“We are a local women-owned business with a full team of estheticians, nurse practitioners, and wellness staff,” Ellis said. “We emphasize customized regimens tailored to each person, making them a better version of themselves, rather than a one-size-fits-all approach. Each client has a unique set of needs, budget, and downtime requirements, and we treat them as such.”

Ellis and Lowther operated independently within the same location until July 2023, when they decided they could better serve clients as a team. “We built up the business and then moved into our new Washington Square location in January 2025,” Lowther said. “This month marks one year in our new space.”

One of the faces patients know best is Elizabeth Olson, RN, an aesthetic registered nurse whose approach blends clinical precision with artistry, and whose philosophy has earned her a devoted following. “I see a lot of patients who come in because they want to look like themselves, just refreshed,” Olson said. “We aren’t changing who they are; we’re enhancing what they already have.”

A Practice Rooted in Expertise and Access

From the beginning, Beautique Medical Aesthetics has offered both clinical and cosmetic services designed to support patients’ overall well-being. With roots in both nursing and esthetics, Ellis and Lowther built the practice to bridge the strengths of their disciplines, providing a thoughtful mix of services – not just what’s popular, but what delivers meaningful, safe, and lasting results.

Today, the practice offers medical-grade facials, injectables, weight-loss support, peptide therapy, vitamin injections, biostimulators, and neurotoxins. With both aesthetic and medical professionals on staff, patients experience a range of treatment options that don’t just focus on appearance but also on the physiological elements that support beauty from within.

The retail area is stocked with the most trusted brands in medical skincare.

“We truly have something for everyone,” Olson said. “Some people want regenerative treatments. Others want to soften wrinkles. Others need a lift or volume. Our job is to assess, discuss their goals, and create a plan that honors their natural anatomy.”

Before entering aesthetics, Olson spent a decade working in nursing – most recently in labor and delivery, a role that taught her how deeply women value compassionate care, reassurance, and confidence. “I absolutely loved taking care of women and making them feel beautiful from the inside out,” she said. “That’s part of what led me to aesthetics. I wanted to be in a space where people chose to be, and where I could still make them happy.”

Her approach hinges on personalization. No two patients receive the same treatment plan, and no injectable is ever chosen simply because it’s trending. “I like to evaluate each patient, see their anatomy, and then use my expertise to decide what’s going to work best for their unique features,” she said.

That patient-specific mentality is especially important now that so many people are using GLP-1 medications. Patients on these medications often experience rapid weight loss, which can leave the face hollow or deflated. Rather than rushing into quick fixes, Olson begins with a thorough assessment and open conversation about their goals.

“My treatment plan usually starts with neurotoxins like Botox or Dysport,” she said. “It gives them a more immediate result and helps restore confidence quickly. Once we address fine lines, then we look at whether they need volume with filler, or whether they’d be better served with biostimulators.”

The Art and Science of Symmetry

Injectables are a blend of medicine and artistry, requiring skill, an eye for beauty, and a steady hand. Olson embraces the challenge of facial symmetry with care and precision. “No two sides of the face are the same,” she said. “They’re sisters, not twins. My goal is to help everything look harmonious.”

To achieve this, she uses facial mapping, taking time to make precise markings before placing any filler. During procedures, she watches closely to ensure proportions remain balanced and that each enhancement supports a patient’s natural beauty. “I’m very detail-oriented,” she said. “It matters to me that the outcome looks right from every angle.”

Her favorite combination? Pairing biostimulators like Sculptra with neurotoxins. “It keeps the look very natural,” she said. “You’re rebuilding collagen over time while keeping lines soft and the skin smooth.”

When asked why clients consistently request her and refer their friends, Olson hesitates – she is humble by nature – but she eventually answers with honesty. “I’m a perfectionist,” she said with a laugh. “I make sure everything I do turns out excellent and meets the patient’s expectations.”

But beyond perfectionism, there’s something deeper that defines her: a commitment to comfort, kindness, and connection. “My number one priority is safety. My second is comfort. Some patients want to pray before we start. Some meditate. Some need a hand to hold. Whatever helps them feel safe and supported, I’m there for it.”

That gentle approach has built bonds that extend beyond the treatment room. “I end up becoming friends – even family – with patients I didn’t know before they came here,” Olson said. “That’s really special to me.”

A Focus on Regenerative Aesthetics

One of the most sought-after categories of treatments at Beautique Medical Aesthetics is regenerative aesthetics, an approach that restores youthful structure through collagen stimulation rather than using volume alone. Biostimulators like Sculptra and Radiesse are at the center of this movement.

“Sculptra is one of my favorite treatments,” Olson said. “You’re helping the body rebuild collagen naturally. It’s subtle, long-lasting, and so beautiful when paired with other treatments.”

Elizabeth “Liz” Olson, RN specializes in BioStimulator injections.

For many patients, especially those impacted by weight fluctuations, biostimulators can return vibrancy and fullness in a way that feels authentic and not overdone. “If someone doesn’t want to add volume or look ‘different,’ Sculptra is the perfect choice,” she said. “We typically do two vials a month for two or three months, depending on the patient. It takes four to six months to see full results, but it’s worth the wait.”

To usher in the New Year, Beautique is offering a special on Sculptra. Normally $900 per vial, the January launch price is $750 per vial. For patients seeking a refreshed, youthful appearance without looking “done,” this is an ideal time to begin.

At Beautique Medical Aesthetics, the heart of the practice is clear: It is a place where medical expertise meets artistry, where safety meets compassion, and where patients are known, valued, and treated as whole individuals.

“I want people to look like themselves,” Olson said. “Just refreshed, confident, and beautiful.”
