The University of Notre Dame Men’s Glee Club, under the direction of Daniel Stowe, will appear at St. Gregory the Great Church, Bluffton, on Wednesday, March 15, 7:00 PM as part of their 2023 Spring Tour. The concert is jointly presented by John Paul II School and the Notre Dame Club of Hilton Head as a fundraiser for school scholarships.
The JP II student choir will open the concert. The Notre Dame Glee Club recently celebrated its 100th anniversary as a campus ensemble. The wide-ranging program will include sacred music by Gabrieli, Victoria and Mendelssohn, a collection of European art and folk songs in advance of the Glee Club’s 2023 European tour, and a tribute to American musical icon Stevie Wonder, along with Irish music for St. Patrick’s Day and songs of Notre Dame. Don’t miss this unique evening of a cappella music for men’s chorus.
